ACI 2025
World Congress

Creating the Future: Developing Global Financial Markets in a Sustainable Way

Event Overview

Brief Description

This is THE annual event where professionals from wholesale financial markets community meet, debate and socialize.

The ACI World Congress is the prominent event for ACI Financial Markets Association (ACI FMA), having a long history since it was first organized in 1955, when ACI FMA was established in Paris.

In recent years, the ACI World Congress was held in Singapore in September 2023 and in Aqaba (Jordan) in October 2024, and both events welcomed the presence of hundreds of international delegates.

Paris has held the ACI World Congress in six different occasions and has been offered to host it again in June 2025, an honour given to the City where ACI FMA started 70 years ago.

Therefore, ACI FMA and ACI France AFTB are proud to jointly organise the ACI 2025 World Congress (63rd Edition) and celebrate the 70th Anniversary of ACI FMA, allowing us to fly the flag for Paris as a Global Financial Markets Hub.

At the ACI World Congresses, representatives from the following institutions usually are in attendance: commercial banks, investment banks, debt issuers, corporates, investors, brokers, hedge funds, asset managers, pension funds, central banks, fintech firms, insurance companies, securities regulators, family offices, market infrastructure providers, and the press (amongst others).

Mark your calendars for Thursday 19th June & Friday 20th June 2025.

Quotes from Stakeholders

Ileana Pietraru

(ACI France AFTB President)

“ACI World Congress is the event that best connects participants in financial market across the world. It is thrilling to meet so many enthusiastic people from all countries moved by the same goals and aspirations. The 2025 ACI World Congress not only marks the 70th anniversary of ACI FMA but also will be key in understanding the challenges that financial markets, as well as the world as a whole, face in these exceptionally uncertain times.”

Stephane Malrait

(ACI FMA Chairman)

“The ACI FMA world congress is always a special event for me where I meet likeminded financial market experts from banks around the world as we come together to network, learn and exchange ideas. This year 70 anniversary of ACI FMA is a celebration of our longevity in the birthplace of the association. I don’t know of any other event that combines such a global reach with consistently engaging and relevant content.”

Patricia Casal Iglesias

(ACI FMA Senior Head Office Manager)

“The ACI 2025 World Congress is more than just an event, it is the moment to co-create the future of financial markets. Through bold ideas, conscious leadership, and a shared commitment to excellence. I am proud to be part of the Organising Committee and to stand with a global community that chooses meaningful impact and authentic exchange. Join us in Paris for this historic 70th anniversary of ACI FMA, you won’t want to miss it!”

Rui Correia

(ACI FMA Chief Executive Officer)

“Having started my financial markets career in May 1989, just two weeks before attending the 31st ACI World Congress which was held in my hometown (Lisbon), I instantaneously became passionate about the ACI FMA community, as I had the chance to network with a global audience and hear experts talk about important issues for financial markets. It is a remarkable event which, for me, has gained even more importance in the last few years, as opportunities to meet delegates from all over the world are not very frequent. Rightly so, this year is a special one – we will celebrate 70 years of a global community that strives to promote good market practices for all participants in the industry. I hope to see you all there.”

Leng Hoe Lon

(Chairperson for ACI World Congress 2023)

"As Singapore hosted the ACI World Congress for the fourth time since our first Congress in 1980, it's remarkable to see how far we've come as a financial hub. The 61st ACI World Congress in 2023 wasn't just another gathering – it was a testament to our enduring commitment to financial excellence and global collaboration. These Congresses represent precious moments where the international financial community comes together, sharing insights and collectively building our vision for the future. As I look ahead, I'm filled with optimism for the future of ACI World Congress and its role in bringing the financial community together. May future congresses continue to inspire, connect, and drive innovation in our ever-evolving financial landscape."

Christian Floch

(ACI France AFTB Treasurer)

“Like all the volunteers who bring this Association to life by devoting their time and passion, I am delighted to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the ACI FMA, where it was founded. Meeting correspondents from around the world during our Congresses is always enriching. The topics we discuss together are fascinating, and the solutions we provide to these challenges are proof of our Association's success. In these turbulent times, it will once again be present and united to build tomorrow.”

Franck Hebeisen

(ACI France AFTB Managing Director)

“Since its creation, ACI FMA has made an active and successful contribution to structuring and standardizing exchanges between participants in the foreign exchange and debt markets, with a particular focus on best practices, ethics and education. In my view, this 70th anniversary Congress celebrates the steadfast commitment of its members and the relevance of their approach. This year, I, like all Congress participants, will have the opportunity to benefit from the views of recognized experts in their field on developments in our businesses, markets and their environment. In addition to the convivial moments that the organizers have made a point of offering participants in the fabulous setting of Paris, the unprecedented economic and political context will make for captivating debates.”

Thierry Javois

(ACI France AFTB Board Member and Permanent Advisor)

“Since the start of my career, over 35 years ago, I've always heard about ACI FMA. My very first manager was a member of the Association, and every time he took part in its activities, I envied him. As my apprenticeship progressed - first on the spot market, then in treasury - he saw my growing involvement, and eventually entrusted me with representing our establishment within this organisation. Since then, I've never stopped being active. Even today, when I am no longer treasurer, its members do me the honour of involving me in their work. ACI FMA is not just a forum for exchanges between peers, it is also a place where the issues that shape our profession are debated and sometimes even dealt with in depth, which is why this 70th anniversary is so important for the entire financial community.”
